How car audio sounds after upgrade?
So today I took a short video of how car audio in my car sounds like after upgrading its sound system. I must admit that I really like it, especially bass but also higher tones are really nice. So if you want to check out, click HERE and you will end up on video that is on my Facebook Fanpage of my car ;) Stay tuned for more as soon a video from installation is coming up on Aristos Garage! ;)

Car Audio Update - I got everything needed!
Finally I got everything needed for improving audio system in my car. So what we got are:
-Bitumic matts for soundproofing doors from the inside and under door panels.
-Roofing tape for soundproofing rest of holes in doors (very good and cheap option for soundproofing).
-Some thin foam for under door panels to make sure there will be no unnecessary vibrations and to it become even more quiet inside the car.
-Everything needed for soundproofing, that means some kind of grease remover, some rags, anti rust spray and electric heater for making bitumic matts more elastic so they are more possible to be shaped for door shape, and few other things.
Now for audio system:
I bought:
-Blaupunkt Blue Magic CX170 2-Way Component System speakers for the front doors, that include 16cm woofer and tweeters, together with crossovers. 65W RMS and 260W Peak Power
-Alpine SPG-13C2 Coaxial 2-Way Speaker System for rear doors, 13cm. 200W Peak Power and 50W RMS.
-MDF 16cm spacers for Opel (in package with Blaupunkt speakers for the front doors) and universal 13cm MDF spacers for the back doors.
And I had some cables already at home that I will use for front doors as rear ones have better condition of cables which are thick enough for new speakers.
So how my audio system will look like:
Head unit: Phillips BOSE CCR800 with multifunctional controlls in steering wheel.
Tweeters and front door woofers: Blaupunkt Blue Magic CX170 2-Way Component System with crossovers.
Rear door woofers: Alpine SPG-13C2 Coaxial 2-way Speaker System for rear doors.
Rear woofers behind rear seats - Stock Bose woofers
Amplifier - 210W BOSE
CD Changer - 6CD Blaupunkt Opel Omega B MV6 OEM CD Changer
Other: New installation for front woofers and tweeters. Soundproofed doors. Bunch of CDs with different genres of music that I'm putting all together and burning these days :P
So that's it for today, probably in the next blog post I will put a video of how it plays after installation. Also there will be whole installation process shown in one of soonest Aristos Garage episodes so make sure you follow me there on YouTube by subscribing as well as on Facebook ;)

Car Audio Plans
So I started working at car audio of my car. First problem - right doors (both) are not working when it comes to speakers. Front have damaged speaker, rear are not giving any voltage at all. So plan is to fix issues with power and change speakers in all doors. Speakers behind rear seats will stay as they are working very nicely. I'm looking forward Blaupunkt CX170 set with tweeters and speakers for front door and Blaupunkt TL130 for the rear door. However I will have to first take all the measures needed to make sure that they will fit and of course make sure that I will be able to get right spacers. I want also to use thickier cables for them and soundproof all 4 doors. So that's from plans, let's see what action will bring. And below a photo of rear speaker which looks rather small:
Aaaaand they came!
No I haven't mean girls that were last night at my home...Joke, there were no girls last night at my home, they were last weekend...nevermind. I mean something better. I mean...black leather door panels for my car of course!
Here is how they look like, 98% complete, I need just two rubber insterts for front door handles and that's it. It was worthy of waiting for them:

I really like them, they are in very good state, restof parts that yo can't see are hidden. I didn't pull them out to not loose any. Anyway, very nice Easter haha. Wooden panels will become silver as I will paint them like the rest of the interior details.Beside it some cleaning and we will install them. So that's about side door panels! Ohh and it seems like exhaust system will be next, as I have bought them so funds aren't allowing me to change whole exhaust system and go to dyno before, plus I decided to finish car audio as I will be putting new door panels so in the same time I will put some new stuff about which I will tell you in the next post when I will get a bit more info. That's it for now, have an awesome Easter!!! :)

Waiting...
So there is not much going on actually...I'm still waiting for my door panels, it is almost 3rd week and I must say...I am getting a bit nervous. Hopefully this guy from forum whom who I bought them, seems to be trusted person, so I hope it will go well. Today I talked to him on FB and asked what's going on, he said he simply didn't have time to send everything. For 1,5 week I was very friendly when talking with him, yet now I've got a bit more serious, as I'm left without money and without door panels... I really hope that in the next post, I will post photos of them laying in my house. Wish me luck... ;) And stay tuned for more. See you !

Changing plans.
In last post I was talking about taking my car to dyno so I will check out power. Well...plans changed. Plans changed because I got real deal and I bought black leather door trims with black plastics, which I needed for interior of my car to make it more complete. However, that means I will be able to sell whole old interior of my car and have money for dyno, conservation of bottom of car (full, with exhaust taken off) and of course, custom exhaust. So that's just short post, informing you how eveyrthing is going. As soon as possible I will post photos of unboxing package with door trims so stay tuned!

Update about soonest future.
So finally i found some time and did some research about dynos near me. After asking on forum and talking with my mate, I decided to choose dyno that lays at the border of my city and Lodz. They have dyno 4x4 DynoProject 4WD DP4L that can measure up to 1300+hp and 1000+Nm. Also price seems quite friendly, so now it is matter of time to go there and check out what power and torque my car has. I will post scan from dyno here and on Facebook Fanpage. Also, on Aristos Garage you will find a video from testing my car on dyno, so stay tuned for more!
